Hi, my name is Rachelle & I’d like to introduce you to our Swimtime Northeast web-site.

I have always had a passion for swimming from a very young age and quickly became a club swimmer competing at National Level.  My past time and hobby soon became my vocation.  With almost 20 years teaching experience my aim has always been to provide swimming lessons for all ages & abilities with the main focus being that each lesson must be  fun as well as being rewarding.
 
Children love the fun & freedom of swimming & encouraging this experience of learning to swim is one of the most exciting & rewarding things you can do. Swimming also provides a complete workout: strengthening the heart, lungs, respiratory system & muscle control, which in turn helps with your child’s development.  Regular swimming can also ward of future breathing complaints such as asthma.
 
Our swimming sessions are structured in accordance with recognized National Teaching Plans with badges and certificates being awarded regularly. This certainly helps to inspire children, & encourage them to have fun & stay involved in the learning progress.  Water safety is also a priority & with progressive training your child will learn vital life-saving skills.
 
Our instructors are amongst the most highly trained & regulated in the UK.  They must all attain their full National Teacher Qualification, & they must keep their skills & teaching practices up to date by attending regular training seminars.  All teachers have their lifeguard or Reach & Rescue qualification, an enhanced CRB check & have their IOS insurance.
 
In our various locations across the region there are different types of lessons on offer – Adult & Child Groups, Children’s Groups & all teachers are on hand for private 1:1 tuition for children & adults of all ages.
